K.V. No. 1 Banbasa Cantt is a part of K.V.S. New Delhi, .
Col.J S Mehta Admn. Cmdt. Army Cantt.Banbasa is the chairman of the school
and principal is the executive head and chief administrator of school. He
inspect and supervises the working of the school and issues direction for
the development of the school.
The school managed by three tier management structure of K.V.S. Where
commissioner is the executive head and chief administrator of K.V.S. The
Asstt. commissioner heads the regional office, who manages a specific number
of schools. K.V. No. 1 Banbasa Cantt is under Dehradun region.

Our Mission
KVS has a four fold mission viz:-
- To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
- To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
- To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.
- To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.
